A Review by Lynn and Baz – Easter 2011.

In 2011 we decided to take an Easter week break at this award winning holiday park. It’s a great little site about half a mile walk from the centre of Skegness with shops, buses, railway station and the usual seaside town attractions. An ASDA supermarket is only ten minutes away. Having said that, the park is nicely nestled in the beautiful Lincolnshire country side. It has everything you need for a great stay with all the amenities you could wish for yet it is peaceful and very quiet.

Richmond is great for couples or families and boasts a fantastic leisure, entertainment and dining complex. The kids will love the indoor Olympic size swimming pool and play areas, and for old and young alike there is the clubhouse with lots of entertainment. If you prefer a quiet night out over a drink or two there is even a pub – and don’t forget the ‘chippie’ for later.

 
The centrally located shower and toilet facilities have disabled and wireless key access and are spotlessly clean with plenty of free hot water. The sites are grass and all flat, and are kept in pristine condition. The camp-ground staff are very good and very helpful. We have used this park several times now. The first time we took my daughter, her husband and 2 kids and they absolutely loved it. If you find yourself in the area we fully recommend this holiday park for a few days or longer.

Richmond Holiday Centre has static six berth caravan holiday homes for rent as well as a dedicated area for touring caravans with electric hookups and space to park your car.
