Camping Innovations

I reckon members of the camping community must be one of the most innovative groups on the planet. Give them a problem and they will come up with a multitude of ideas to fix it. Whether it be removing tent pegs easily, or keeping the fridge cool and operating at its best; the ideas are out there and in day to day use.

A friend of mine – also into camping, strolled across the road one day and said,”Have a look at this that I’ve just made.” At first I couldn’t see what on earth use this gizzmo would be until I witnessed a demonstration. It may be of use to those of us towing caravans and large camper trailers, that for safety reasons employ level-rides, or anti-sway bars, stabiliser bars, whatever you want to call them. If you do use these devices, and you are not as young and fit as you used to be, then fitting them can be a struggle sometimes to say the least. I have seen many people use various means to make the job easier. Below is a video of one home made device to take the hard work out of the job.
