    Lights for Camping

    Some time ago I bought my wife and I a LED flashlight each. These were small devices taking just three standard AA batteries to power an array of six white LEDs. We use the flashlights obviously for finding our way around camp sites after dark. We are both very impressed by the amount and quality of the light produced, and by the battery lifetime.     Keep your bedding dry – amongst other things.

    Here’s a quick tip for you while I wait for the BBQ to heat up. If you have a pop top camper or caravan where the beds pull out of the main body and are enclosed in canvas, the canvas can often become damp when you experience heavy rain or even a heavy dew.
